For those of you that ride all year round, just thought I'd post about the Datatool grips.
Fitted them this morning, fairly trouble free. The throttle tube needed taking down a bit with some P80 then P180 paper, as I couldn't even get the new grip on.
They seem to work as advertised and only operated with the engine running, getting reasonably hot in the few mintes I had them on. Will give them a proper test tomorrow on my 450 mile round trip to Kings Lynn

I used to have heated grips on my scooter work hack, I also had some brilliant winter gloves that cost me 100 quid. well worth it though.
My hands were Toasteeeeeeeeeeee.

Tolerance will be our undoing.

I guess the trip to swampy territory necessitated the heated grips
The local's gloves would have a spare finger after all
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'm just hoping to get and and out in the hours of daylight.
I've heard plenty of tales of the local folk. I even spent quite a bit of time over at Bacton........
Luckily I never got introduced to a woman who was both wife and sister to the same man.

I've got some Held gloves which are good, but I have bad circulation which is not helped by several shattered knuckles on my right hand.
Had Oxford heated grips on my Sprint 1050 and they were fantastic.

I have had two crushed fingers and I suffer from vibration white finger all in my right hand, the heated grips and gloves were spot on.

Tolerance will be our undoing.

I have oxford heated grips on mine and in all honesty I haven't had to use them yet, I wear a cheap set of thermal lined leather gloves that were just shy of £15 from ebay and that's it. I'm guessing the Falco's fairing is doing it's job in one way or another
Regular maintenance is the key to reliability, irregular maintenance is the key to much exercise!

Well I made it there and back safely, no pitchforks or makeshift lanterns spotted.
Or any police for that matter which meant I made steady progress
The grips do as advertised and kept my hands nice and warm. Just had to get used to where the switch was as kept catching the lights and turning them off when I set off from home in the dark
