Ah, but do you enjoy balancing wheels and sticking lumps of lead on your nice shiny wheel? And having to prise them off again when you change tyres?

To be honest, the EasyBalance beads I now use were one of the reasons I started changing my own tyres again. I don't need to faff about with balancing the wheels, for a start. And I can well imagine the look on the average tyrefitters face if I rocked up with my rims and said "er, don't bother balancing them mate, just stick some of this powder in..."

It wouldn't end well, now would it...? :smt003

Shiny wheels?..... Did you miss the part that said "no interest in cleaning"? :smt003

I have thought about those balance beads, read lots of reviews and they seem to be a bit of a Marmite thing. Some folk love, some hate claiming its all shite. If I knew for a fact that they work, I'd probably be more tempted. Its the balancing that really tests my patience.

Been running on unbalanced tyres since Jan, no uneven wear or adverse affects to report.
Bike is used almost every day and ridden with Falco gusto !
