Yeah - but it's a modded Falco - far better than a MilleR will ever be.

and - it also pisses the mille boys off that we use the mille as a donor bike....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Really!
I expect they get pissed off because you force up the price of replacement parts because you should have bought a Mille in the 1st place.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

If I had wanted to have bought a Mille, I would have done....
Vastly different bikes - that share some parts :)
And the Mille boys should thank us - we find all sorts of replacement parts for them

so you're making a level headed decision based on epxerience and maturity ... don't see a problem with that

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Exactly what I found, it's not just bling, keep telling yourself that.
But they do really look good don't they!
It probably makes the bike more economical as well, turning less weight around, but perhaps that's taking it too far, so just enjoy.

As long as you have the cash, I think these upgrades are usually money well spent.
If you need the money in the future, you can often sell the goodies for what you paid for them - and for some things the prices are rising.
If you loose a bit, well you've had some good use from them.
What's more for each change you get a "new" bike that's better than before - how much would that cost if you were to keep chopping in and changing?
Effectively new bikes on the cheap.
