#1 Post by Dalemac » Mon Jul 29, 2013 10:06 am

Someone asked me what the SL standed for in the model name and i realised i didn't know. :smt017

Obviously it means something, but obviously not "So Lame", "Sexy Lesbians", "Super Leggera".... etc.

so, what does it stand for? :S

It's the Italian for Sports Lightweight - sort of stripped down sports bike

It never was a sports tourer that may try to categorise it as

So, "Sportiva Leggera" would seem to be the correct term.

Thanks :smt023

That term seems to make a lot of sense in respect of the Falco however I don't get it being applied to the Shiver
