The Renegade has given the effects you describe with the MWR but I thiink the MWR is better engineered.
Oh yes - Hi and welcome to Ridersite, FalcoPete

Thanks D-Rider. Maybe we should meet up sometime (if the opportunity arrises) & compare notes & induction roar levels...think yours will win

I must admit your totally correct in what your saying about the smoothness and seems to pick up quicker.
I love the induction roar as well when you twist the throttle right back.
Let me know when you have a new map done, if there is any difference.
I have a Forza Aprilia chip and a PC III but still to have a custom map done, so running it flat at the moment.
If you're interested in trying my PCIII map (std air filter, beowulf cans) let me know as the PCIII (USB version) can hold 2 maps to see if you get any improvement. It should be better than your stock one, which I found for my bike was way off, especially in the low to mid range. Stopped my occasional cutting out at traffic light etc too. Just PM me with your email address & I'll send it to you. (Will be over the weekend as the bike is in a 24hr secure lockup.

I have to say, that filter kit looks damned good.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
