Service Recovery

#1 Post by DavShill » Sun Apr 29, 2007 11:47 am

Took the bike in for its second service yesterday. Had to go to Infinity at York cos the Prilla dealer in Hull has gone all Honda. Booked it about 2 weeks ago and phoned up on Thursday just to check they had it on the list. Everything fine but could I get it there for 8.30 so they can do it first . Fine sez I cos i'm coming from Beverley.

Arrived yesterday on time - nice man sez it'll be ready at 12 noon. 2 hours for the service and an hour to fit HEL braided lines.

So I goes for a stroll and a coffee around York - lovely morning, there are worst places to kill 3 hours.

Goes back to the garage and the bike hasn't moved - manager hasn't noticed and says - oh sorry I double booked but we'll do it next and it'll be ready by 5 pm. Not happy - I don't want to spend another 5 hours in York so he gave me a Yam FZ6 to play with. Then when I went back at 4.30 job done and they only charged me £93 for the parts - 3 hours free labour. RESULT !!!!!

So let me get this right, bike service, braided lines fitted, 3hour for a nice walk around then a loan bike for a 4 hour ride :smt017 and it only cost you 93 quid, bet you payed with a mastercard, priceless :smt003
The problem with common sense is, its not very common
