Rear huggers
Who makes the apart from Skidmarx ?
At £80 something the Skidmarx is a bit off budget at the mo,wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives worth bothering with ?

I have a pyramid plastics hugger and from what I have been reading they fit better than the skidmarx equivalent.fatboy wrote:Thanks Blinkey, had a look earlier, only a few £ cheaper than Skids but look a bit better.
Got a meeting with bank as they have charged me £125 for a cock up which is not my doing !
Holds breath until payday,again
That includes fitting a 190/55 section rear tyre, the clearance is slightly better.

Some of the NWS stuff was made by Pyramid anyway; or so a Pyramid rep at a show told me.D-Rider wrote:When I had a Falco swinging arm on mine I had an NWS carbon-fibre hugger.
Nice bit of kit ..... but they don't make them any more. Sorry.

Interesting - it does look similar (but there again, it's a hugger so it probably would .......)MartDude wrote:Some of the NWS stuff was made by Pyramid anyway; or so a Pyramid rep at a show told me.D-Rider wrote:When I had a Falco swinging arm on mine I had an NWS carbon-fibre hugger.

I tried to ring NWS a couple of years ago to order one of their Abba-a-like stands and was told that I had gone straight through to Pyramid. NWS were apparently no longer trading and that they had taken on the plastics side of things. That was from the phone number on the NWS site (which I can no longer find on a Google search).
