Been sleeved inside so it doesn't blow through when welding. It's only tacked so far - the final weld is being done by some motorsport engineers. My mate's TIG isn't quite up to it. Don't fancy it coming adrift...
As for weight... the Falco arm is 250g lighter than the RSV arm. The extra 35mm of tube and the insert won't come to that much - I'll weigh it when it comes back. Should still be lighter than the RSV arm that's in there now.

Just a small note to update this thread. After winning the 1300 class in 2011, the Falclimber went on to win the 1300 class in 2012 and take the outright British title too. A Falco with the number 1 plate on it - up against race tuned KTM supermotos, CR500s, big bore tuned TL1060s etc. Not bad for a sports tourer... But we knew that already!

Are you back in Blighty Ben?
I heard something about you having been editing Classic Snowboard Fettlers over the past few months before you travel to Jupiter - or something like that .........

Really well done Ben, but we always thought that the Falco was better than KTMs and old Suzuki TL stuff.
Even better now you've stuffed the lot of them.
Suppose having you in the saddle helped a lot as well.
