Does anyone know where I can source the correct connectors for the indicators on my Falco. I'm fitting some off the RS50 (same as my sons bike ) and they're different connectors.
I'd like to make a small adapter lead up so I can revert back to the originals if needed and dont want to hack the original connectors off.
I've looked at all the automotive electrical on-line stores and cant see the correct ones
Also are the connectors the same at the front as the back cos I've only looked at the back ones up to now.
I don't care if you lick windows,

Just use block connectors and have done with it dude

Tolerance will be our undoing.

Fronts are the same. Take the plug into an electrical place (rs components trade counter), you can press out the crimp connectors and swap them.
Or just chop them off and use bullet crimps :)

I managed to source them from Farnell aka Element 14, see links below.
The pictures are generic so check the description to be sure they are 2 way.
You should be able to get pins too, but if the other connector has pins that fit into the Falco connector just use a jewelers scewdriver to press in the tangs and pull the pin out to swap the connector blocks over.
I've done this many times and the tangs are up to it.

As far as I remember, Farnell have a minimum order value of £25 unless you have a trade account.
pops, do you know the part number of the crimp pins that go into these? I've butchered mine to fit other indicators and wouldn't mind putting them back to standard wit a short adaptor lead.

I just checked, £20 (plus VAT) is the minimum order value for card payments, you have to have a credit account to place smaller ones.

Wayno, my old bath bun, and Nicketynoo for that matter.
It just so happens that I have what is commonly referred to as a F*ck load of these connectors, so PM me your requirements and addresses and I'll fire them out to you. Probably cheaper to send to one of you and arrange internal postage between you both, I reckon I can spare a couple of connectors too.
All light and small, so not worth fannying about with postage, so call it an early birthday pressie from me.
Mind you when I eventually drag my sorry arse back to the UK for a visit, I'll be expecting copious quantities of beer in return. Being Scottish, don't for a second think I won't track you down and make you go out drinking.

Thanks for the offer falcopops, but as you're a scotsman I shall definitely not be giving you my address :)
Only kidding, however this morning I have told our electrical designer at work that we will be using some of these connectors and crimps on the next unit we build, so he's just added half a dozen of the plugs/sockets and sh1t loads of crimps to his farnell order. If I play this right I may even be able to get him to make the adaptors for me, with the right resistors in parallel :)
I'll still buy you a beer (special brew as you're scottish) though for the kind offer (carfully not saying pint or you'll be after a pint of some expensive whisky)

How much do you want for 2 male and 2 female connectors, please?
I'm fitting some RSV-R mirrors with the built-in indicators and would rather have an extension lead for the wiring than butcher up the plugs.
