WoooooHooooooo

#1 Post by fatboy » Mon Feb 04, 2013 8:47 pm

Got a train up to Griffland to get the fettled, fixed, tuned and tested Falco.
Nice to finally meet Griff, not only does he know all you need to know, he is a smashing bloke as well!
Picked me up from the station, drove me to the post office so I could tax it,fed me tea and we chatted shit for ages.
Falco sailed through the MOT
Griff pointed out a few areas that need attention,
So bloody good to have the beast back OTR :smt003 :smt003
Have to say 12 out of ten to AP

Griff is one of the best!!
Yep he really knows his stuff and not just aprilia's.
I am really glad through all the shit you have been through with the bike it is finally sorted.
With all the odds that seemed to be stacked against you it must feel even better now you are on the road :smt023

So so good to be able to put it on the sidestand without having to turn the bars, move it forward a bit, look out of the window when you pay for your petrol.
The Busa stand was not that easy to fit,Griff ended up fabricating bracketry ect,but it works !

They've always struck me as a decent bunch. Glad you're up and running.

IMPORTANT:
If anyone happens to visit Aprilia Performance and gets to meet Mr Wooley himself (Griff), please remember that he will really appreciate it if you refer to him as "Mr. Jackson"

Oh yes

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

The other day I gave Griff 12 out of 10, today I have to increase it to 15.
Small issue with the Busa stand, the warning light was off with the stand down,on with the srand up,all arse about face.
I gave him a bell, asked if the switch may be 180 degrees out ?
No,he replied, all checked and working when it left but just have a look and make sure the pin on the switch is engaged with the newly drilled hole in the stand leg,if it's not that I will send someone to you to sort it out.
Turned out to be the pin dis engaged, the guy who fitted it was concerned about overtightening the nut and busting the switch
Thats what you call customer service :smt006 :smt006

Mr Jackson ? I will try to remember that when my parts arrive

Steady on - it'll go to his head and I'm not sure there is room for it to swell now that he's ditched the afro.
