That's my view seems ok apart from the brake light and me well aches and pains but that's normal. Pride being the main casualty as I lay in the middle of the roundabout with a bike pinning my leg having a fag whilst I contemplated that at least the weather was ok

It does'nt rain but pour for you does it my friend
Your brake light is on because the brake pedal or lever is probably bent and holding your switch in the on position, take a gander.
I am glad you are ok, a bike can be replaced although it sounds like the bike is repairable

A pedant who likes bad puns. I was hoping that role would still be available.

You've no idea of the depths I plumb in the misplaced hope that one of them may produce a chuckle .....

Bugger. Is it easily mendable?
In the unlikely event that your back brake switch is jammed I've got the plungery bit for one but it's only attached to four inches of wire. Would have to be grafted on.

At least you could have a fag - when I dropped my bike on my leg I couldn't even do that cos the fuel was leaking out right next to me!
Hope you and the bike feel better soon!

Brake light always on - had that. It was the little switch unit on the front brake lever - its insides had got claggy wi' clarts. If you've got agile fingers, it can be dismantled, cleaned & reassembled.
Sorry to hear of further woes, Geoff; must be your turn for some good fortune soon - fingers crossed for you.
Here's something to be going on with

Thanks all I just remembered when I was lying there I was actually stained with petrol from a blow back about 15-20 minutes earlier when filling up
Got to speak to a couple of nice drivers who stopped to see of I was ok I apologised for not getting up ... Well just because you're lying on the grass like a crash landed ugly version of ET no reason to forget your manners 
Mart may be needing that lid sooner rather than layer at this rare lol.
Still back off to work in the morning will try to disconnect the light till u can try and clean the gubbins.
On the plus side my new bar ends gave arrived :) gold just need an Olympic bronze mid front fairing panel or a big fek off touch up stick now lol
