Id guess that dink if from the s/stand being kicked up,travelling too far. My neighbour has an Anniversery GSXR 750 and worries more about s/stand issues than I, a falco owner
I can honestly say a 57 GSXR side stand is worse than a std Falco, not sure how much variation there is between GSXR years but 57 Spec Anniversery is not a good choice

I think the "dink" is standard.

do you think the angle the bike leans on and the weight is to much for the standard bracket using the gxr stand ?

Good point!! I've got the 01 Falco and since putting the Firestom stand on it leans over a hell of a lot more...may bite the bullet and do the American stand and bracket?

Hi Joe if you're asking whether you keep the standard bracket when you fit the gixer stand, the answer is yes.
If you're asking me to confirm that's a standard bracket ... you'll have to wait 'till I get home.
Currently sat in Dubai airport following a full day at work and then a 12hr flight from Japan ... brain not functioning too well ....
Now on a 3 hr stop-over before another 7hrs 40mins in the air to get back home ..... at least there's free WiFi here - albeit megga slow

Just in case you are wondering why this happened then i think it was because the bolts had come loose. If they were tight then the bracket would not have fallen. The front bolt would have held it in place (and so would the back one for that matter). IMHO the vibration over time will have weakened the bracket (forgot what the term is that describes this) and this has caused it to snap. I don't think the bracket is at fault in this case. It is more likely an unfortunate case of the bolts vibrating loose over time. I would replace the bolts as well when you do the repair and also use some loctite.

...think it was 2004-2007, mine was 2006. There's a few threads on it in the search area

You need to drill a hole for the sensor, there's a debate on the spring, some use the Falco others the Fireblade/Firestorm...but both i guess are fine. Griff did mine for me so can't say about mine, i just need to get over the lean angle...when i first saw it i thought it was leaning over too much, but Griff convinced me it was fine

cheers , i done a wee search , but the way i was reading the posts its just the leg you use, i thought the bracket and leg was a strait swap, as i need the bracket ,
i might just have to buy this and change the leg over
