I'm quick enough to have a moan when things are are all wrong so I thought I'd share a couple of things that are alright!

I finally sold the auto trike that I bought years ago and spent lots on so now I've got some cash to make mods to Gertie, hopefully making her easier to ride!

I've been having a lot of trouble with my legs giving out which turned out to be back trouble - was told it was the arthritis got into my spine but whether it is or not (no X-rays, just told that the Dr 'thinks' it's arthritis) the treatment I've been paying for myself from a chiropracter since last year at last seems to be working! Still don't understand why the NHS will only treat the symptoms not the problem but never mind that.

AND I think I've got someone to do the mods for me - someone whose wortk on trikes I've seen and trust!

So depending on when he can do it I hope to be out and about a lot more this year!

Glad to hear of some things going (relatively) well.
It'd be great if the fundamental problems evaporated but things improving is a definite thing to be glad about.

That's great news, hope the work goes well and you end up a bit more comfotable in the process.

Another trike called Gerty? A friend of a friend owns a trike called Gerty, and runs the Dirty Gerty rallies. Any relation?

Glad you've had some positive news BG and are feeling better - hope it continues for a long time.

And it moves along - talked to Iain today who will be sorting the trike for me! He reckons he can get it done in time for my first rally which is 20 April!

New front end with reduced trail so it steers easier, new bars so I don't have to reach so far, and a towbar so I can toss the camping stuff in a trailer instead of having to pack it all on the rack which is hard work!

Can't wait!
