It is an abbreviation of manufactory, an establishment where 'stuff' is manufactured.

Usually means a few extra bits of bling over the base model

What "Factory" sticker on a Falco?
I can't be sure that I remember in detail all of the decals for all of the Falco model years but I really can't remember a "Factory" sticker.

Not common in Europe but some in USA had a factory sticker

Ahem .... Nursie ..... I think you've been at the medicine cabinet again .....
The sticker you are thinking of is the "R" that turned the SL1000 into the SLR1000 .....

Haha... 'R' on a Falco is just Aprilia's way of making inadequate Yanks feel better about themselves.
'Factory' does not apply to Falcos ex-factory (pardon the pun); full stop. What has probably happened is a previous owner has decided to add the RSV Mille 'Factory' decal to your Falco when the bike (or part of it) was being resprayed. At the time the 'Factory' RSV model was the hot ticket, so the previous owner probably fancied basking in the reflected glow...

Probably what happened, I have not seen two Falcos with the same set of decals, seems everyone makes small changes to their machine.

It is a very fine looking bike, irrespective of decals. Best blue example I've seen, and by quite a long way.
