Confused by Orange offer........

Can anyone help, we have Orange broadband (with a plug-in router) but still use BT phone service and we've had an offer from Orange as below but it's all done by phone and email and we don't want to be hassled into signing up for it till we know the answer to some of the questions!
Questions - is a wireless router better than the type we have or just different and more modern?(we're old and resistant to change)
Would we have to use the McAfee? (don't want it)
If we didn't add the international calls, would we still be able to make them and would we pay through the nose? (I phone my sister in Oz about once every ten years!)
How long would it take them to swop over, ie would we be without phone or internet for any period?
Anything else anyone knows?

This would definitey be cheaper than paying Orange and BT but....we'd recommend Broadband & Anytime Calls as the best fit for you.
For just £15.00 plus line rental of £11.50 per month paid to Orange (£26.50 in total) you’ll enjoy:
- Unlimited anytime calls to UK landlines including 0845 and 0870 numbers
- Free caller display and voicemail
- Speeds of up to 20 meg if you live in the Orange broadband network (that covers 85% of the UK) or up to 8 meg if you live outside this area*
- Unlimited usage allowance so you can surf, watch movies plus upload and download to your hearts content
- A new ‘N’ class wireless router worth £50 for anyone who has an old USB router. This gives you the best range and speeds plus wireless access throughout your house
- McAfee™ Family Protection with parental controls
- No connection fee
- Call customer support for free if you have an Orange mobile or an Orange home phone
- You can add international calls to your package for just an extra £4 per month at any point in your contract**
