Time for renewal. Been quoted 400 for a Husky SM610 and the Falco on a multibike policy with 1 years no claims. Is this reasonable?

Insurance takes in to consideration a lot of petty factors. Such as age, experience, area you live in, type of riding you do, where its kept, mileage and if you use it to commute or not. The NCD scheme is a bit of a white elephant IMO and an excuse for insurers to bump the price up for those who've got little to none.

Giz some more info on yourself and also who the broker is. :smt002

Went with Adrian Flux, using both bikes to commute 100 mile round trips (obviously not at the same time :smt002 ), both garaged, used all year round. El Falco is alarmed and data tagged, got a chain and all the usual gubbins, the Husky will just have a chain, disc lock and data tag. 1 years no claims, 1 years licence. Got quoted 580 from Carole Nash. Camberley postcode but not the expensive part.

falco is 294 and to add fazer to policy an extra 50 quid BUT. if your first main bike is due for insurance, that being your highest insurance group bike is due and you have second bike that is still insured on a multibike policy you have to insure your main bike again has your second bike wont be covered. This is due to the discount they give you to insure a second bike origionally. If you dont re insure your main bike again then in there eyes why should you benefit from a discount on your second. Hope this makes sense :smt002

Sounds reasonable then. Mine was similar for two bikes with full NCD but no garage and a blighted postcode.

Sounds about right to me considering the mileage you'll be doing. Have you got pillion cover on that? In fact check all of the add ons to make sure it's a policy tailored to your specific needs.

Just changed fazer insurance to the oasis green falco on my dual policy, The only thing i have to pay is £15 for administration. I am happy with that but it turns out its the same for a 1000cc V twin has a 600 in line 4 for the second bike :smt017 so i can insure 2 falco's for under £350 :smt001
