Help me pls, advice on hols needed!

Jon, Kiddo and me are planning a week away (looking at the diff in prices though it seems like it will be 2 weeks!) ....

The problem we have is we don't care where we go (as in country), as long as I can fry by the pool and he and kiddo have things to amuse themselves with! I was thinking about Cyprus, seems safe, sunny and has lots to do???? BUT the flights for their package deals seem pretty much unavailable from where I want to fly!

The other point is I want ALL INC, no, that's not true I seriously DON'T want it but unless we want to go bankrupt over ice creams and juice then it's a must with the kiddo there.... I'm thinking about starting a new travel site with parents go B&B and the kid(s) go all inc .... INC a babysitter

Basically, I'm asking, has anyone any ideas for a decent child friendly (and I don't mean stuff, just that she'll find kid's the same age to create havoc with) place to go, I don't care where as long as the weather is HOT mid july and I can take a chill pill lol

Send me/advise me toward the wrong place and I just hope you have the pleasure of her company on the next sun bed to you!!!

Long time back I went to a great all inc place on an Island off the Tunisian coast Jerba or Djerba - google it. Had lots of activities for all inc kids club. Fully enclosed compound type thingy, but plenty of other stuff to dou outside the gates and more good grub than you could poke a stick at.

Can't recall the name of the place, it was years ago. The current instability in this area seems to have put people off it as a holiday destination, but it's a small island away from the trouble, so you might be able to grab a bargain.

I just had a quick look at a holiday website and there are plenty of great current reviews.

It's a small world.... hubby currently works 4 hours south of Djerba and that was the initial plan... but yes!, I'm one of the people the current climate has put off

They're good at recognising an English accent but always assume mine is American ... not a risk I want to take this time round lol

I know I am biased, but have you considered a cruise?

Everything included, food, entertainment, usually a choice of pools and whirlpools, kiddies clubs in a safe environmment so it allows them to have fun but also give the parents some space, and you get to visit several locations rather than being stuck in one place, and you are virtually guaranteed sunshine.

A cruise will cater for familes ideally, and believe me you do not have the opportunity to get bored unless you want to, it is not expensive but the standard of comfort and service is second to none.

Just a thought.
