Had a good time at the Basingstoke Festival of Transport on the Manky Monkey Motors stand - but the clutch cable went on the way home - got to try and get it fixed before Thursday so I can go to a rally near Peterborough!

Being a trike i'm not sure if a standard cable will be any use.. If not, give those chaps a call.. They know what they're on about and do all my cables. Not had one go on me yet.

Cheers Will - might try them if the local Kawasaki shop can't oblige - trouble is it's not something they keep in stock! And yes, it's a standard cable but I've had problems getting the right one before! Not much time to get it sorted, can't phone anyone till tomorrow and then I need it sent Same Day!
In fact on second thoughts your link might be a better place to start!

They're pretty good for lead times. Being so close, I usually just rock up and wait. Doesn't take them long. I pretty sure they'll have pattens for most cables, if not all of them. They can usually be seen at the larger jumbles, such as Stafford, Beaulieu/Netley Marsh, Kempton Park and Newark among others..

I'll give them a call first thing - and if they come up trumps they'll get a gold star on all the forums I post on!

No go there, they need the old cable for pattern for Jap stuff, fair enough - but Bournemouth Kawasaki reckon they can get me one for tomorrow afternoon - fingers crossed!

Blast it!
Went all the way to Bournemouth Kawasaki for it - 40 mile round trip - when I got home found it was the wrong one! Now temp fixed with a cable repair kit, hope it will hold!
Going to phone Wemoto tomorrow, hope they can send one next day delivery, and take it to the rally with me where I'm sure some kind person will fit it for me.

Son in law put a new inner in with the Hein Gericke kit I carry - but he said he's not done it before so he's not sure it will hold - last one stayed fixed for a couple of years!

Chuck that aged Sakakrappy motor out and replace it with a nice Rotax twin that has a hydraulic clutch
