My MP even supported this. :smt013

I've written to the little sod expressing my opinions, but I'm not holding my breath for his reply.

The actual debate can be read on Hansard - its all nonsense about illegal use of mini-motos, but as usual will only hit the innocent law abiding majority.

Reply from my M.P.

" Dear Mr. ********,

Thanks for this.

I am completely in agreement with you that what we need is more stringent enforcement of existing legislation rather than further dead weight in the statute book. While I do recognise that there are many dangers and annoyances posed by mini-motorbikes I believe that local authorities and central Government should be working harder together to ensure the more-than-sufficient laws that are already in place are followed.

For this reason, I do not believe I will be supporting the Bill.

Thank you again for contacting me.

Yours sincerely,

David Davies, MP"

He has proved to be a helpful MP so I'm in the difficult position of wanting to vote for him but not for his party!

The parties are all the same now, well they look the same with the same ideas.

So you vote for what is right for you and not his party.

And that party has the same ideas as the others, so whats the difference.

Their words are similar these days .... but I've not forgotten the dark days of the 80's and wouldn't take the risk of putting that lot in power again!
