Yep - driving the car and riding the bike is very expensive. Rideouts just for fun will be somewhat fewer.

130 miles before the light comes on Joe?
Thanks. I have all the information I need.
Won't be too many jolly Sundays this year when a couple of fills could cost ya £50.
Gonna use mine mostly for summer transport I reckon as opposed to so much fun stuff.

Im looking at getting a 125 for ragging round for shits and giggles, the GPZ will be more of a tool for the odd longer blast.
Car? downsizing as much as possible to smaller engined ones. Almera is due to die thanks to a clumsy trucker, which is handy in a way, so looks like we're going to have the BMW 320 for once a month trips and a couple of 1.2 corsas for every day bimbling round. Insurance comes down each year which is the only godsend.. fuel? It's bought by £ not litres nowadays..

the price of fuel is rediculous. Atleast some of you on this forum had a decent amount of time in your life to get some relatively cheap thrills in. (not being rude or anything!)
i find myself filling up every 100 miles and putting about 13 quid in to fill it back up.
although i guess i cant complain, thats 45mpg!

Dale. Shhh..
I'll stick a tenner in every now n' then and stick another tenner in when the light comes on. Around 60-70 miles before that happens.. So if the tank will hold £20, a return of 120-140 miles ent bad at all.

A tank of fuel now gets me.... the same distance it always has. The price may have gone up, but the volume my tank holds hasn't gone down

Called in to see Griff yesterday afternoon for rear sprocket and suspension set up (some guy called 'Aladinsane' rang whilst i was there?) and had a nice bimble around Leics afterwards, first run out this year since the mods, when i got back to Hinckley as the fuel light was coming i filled up and it cost £17.50, used to be about £12-14 i think?
By the way we all know this but the service the guy gives on the bike and patience of the man was second to non, my third visit, the guy's a real gent...was still mumbling about a lost biscuit tin though??
