I am ashamed to say I know someone who gets really excited about Stephen Fry's tweets and posts about them on Facebook!

Apparently Facebook is going to get renamed 'Farmville'

Especially when the new 'English Countryside' Farmville is released this week.... :smt015

I've fairly succesfully banished any mention of Farmville from my Facebook.

I like the way FB keeps me connected with friends from different bits of my life AND introduces my friends to each other. It's quite a useful tool as long as you beat it into submission!

What would you guys think about a social networking site specifically for the two wheeled community? and i dont mean a forum like ridersite, i mean a fully fledged networking tool?

There was one a while back called 'Bikerbook'.. But I think it's died a death.. Wasn't popular enough I don't think. May of us use Farcebook, which does the job pretty well. :smt001

Aprilia RiderSite is already on Facebook...

when it takes off enough we'll rename it ARSbook.

As I said earlier - the useful thing about FB is that it connects my biking AND non-biking friends. For the biking ones, I still think you can't beat forums!

I also think that one day Facebook and its ilk with come crashing about our ears, then we and everyone else will be very glad we kept the forums alive!

Haha! facebook came crashing down round Sharon's ears last night, we lost tinternet so she couldnt

a. 'do' cafeworld where her and her mum are working on various stuff.. a proper (sad) collection of housewives religiously cooking things in the cafeworld.. Feksakes its really really serious too. thy have conversations at work and on the phone about the stuff they have to cook next. it's like a religious cult..
b. 'do' farmville.. this was a minor thing compared to what was cooking in cafeworld..

She had to phone mum and give her the passwords so mumsie could do her cooking thing for her. :smt012 :smt012

Anyways, as this was a thread containing random pointless stuff, I was going to post this:

It is impossible to say the word 'beercan' without sounding like a West Indian saying 'bacon'. Try it now

With a family as ooge and far afield as the wife's, farcebook is the simplest, quickest and most economical way of keeping in touch and up to date with them all.

allegedly

there is also an off switch.
