I am not going to host them all here, but may add a selected few here when I get a chance....

90 odd images http://gallery.me.com/aladinsaneuk#1000 ... &view=grid

The weekend itself ... awesome weather, friendly folk and decent beer.... the festival ale at 4.7% abv slipped down a treat

The bikes - oh my - there were bikes there that I have never seen in the flesh before - some I had never even heard of.... in the above images, you will see many of the bikes have numbers on them - all of those went out on the track - a couple were just parading, but the old boys on the manx nortons were not pissing around... really going for it at times!

Some of the pictures are of the track - and sorry I could not get any decent images as my shutter speed was not fast enough. I think next year I will take a video recorder as that is the only way I think i will be able to do it justice. The sight and sound of 20 odd 350/500 twins and singles all lumping into a corner at the same time... unreal - and talk about a blast from the past - the heavenly scent of castrol r drifting on the breeze.....

Also got to meet a few legends. Carl Fogarty was his normal, grumpy, arsehole self. Sorry carl but just because you were that good does not mean you can be an arse with the fans.... and you are looking old...
(BUT when he went out for an undercover track session, on a borrowed ducati, it was obvious to all who you were. There were some quick riders out there - and quick riders on fast bikes - foggy made it look effortless - was almost poetic in his riding ability - and i think he was not even trying hard.... awesome talent, tiny penis and personality!)

Jim Redman - what a gentleman - 70 plus, still telling jokes and enjoying life - was a pleasure to meet him

Freddie Spencer - an absolute gent as well - and took time to chat with everyone - no attitude and just a nice bloke - really impressed with him

Will add more memories later ... work beckons

Always a problem coming cross country having to head through Leicester, was it the weekend just gone, was in the Hinckley area on the Sat afternoon, normally you can hear any Mallory activity. As i said on earlier post was over HisNibbs way in the morning riding around Rutland

Glad you had a good time
