There's another forum I frequent where people love all sorts of vehicles (in the losest sense) so I asked about manual for you and got this reply very quickly!

Wow ..... fantastic stuff - very many thanks Bobbi
Please pass my thanks on to those that helped out.

I've joined a couple of tractor forums but they are particularly difficult to search - at least for a fairly unknowledgeable newbie like me.

I've found this a good source of info in the past. Quite a busy forum.

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Have a look at http://www.mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/forum/index.php - anything with a motor, you'll find someone on there who knows about it! And they're all complete nutters!

Why have any normal barrow when you can have one with an engine on it

Image

It's called a '"Tubo Truc Trakta" and was built in Wales in the mid 1950's. From what I can gather, it used to belong to the Coventry Corporation's Parks & Cemeteries department (TBC). It boasts a 2hp BSA 120cc single cylinder side valve engine, a 3 speed (with reverse!) Albion gearbox and cable operated clutch. The handle doubles as the clutch and brake lever.. Quite a clever little thing really.. It's all most too simple to work..lol.

Plan is to restore to a reasonable condition (i'm not going to throw loads of cash at it!), use it for a while or even donate it to a museum, maybe even a preserved railway.

The things ye find at the bottom of other peoples allotments! :smt003
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I love this pic I took at Aberdare Road Races - this bloke was given an 18cc motor cos his mate was going to throw it away - he took it home cos he was sure he could find some use for it - so he made a paddock bike! So much cooler than a scooter!
