But seriously, why would you like this option? We've never had it before on RS, why 4 years down the line?

It's always possible to contact a mod (or admin) to lock a thread,which they'd be only too happy to oblige with should there be valid reason? It is after all, part of the job spec..

Its taken 4 years to sink in :smt005

Actually thinking about it bit of a no brainer as I can see lots of locked threads ensuing. Which would be silly.

Clearly !

From what I can make out, this is supposed to be a thread about the lyrics of the New Seakers.

Although I'm not a great fan of them myself, my sister went to school with Lynn Paul's sister.

Anyway, stop derailing it with some nonsense about locking threads!
