I have had a few hearing problems lately, muffled sounds and also dizziness.
So I took a trip to the doctors and he said I need them syringing. Ok....so I booked an appointment with the nurse and had my ears done today. (a first for me).
Whoa....What a difference. If I describe it in terms of 'bass and treble' controls on a stereo system I can say the treble has been turned up to full and the bass turned down to zero coupled with the volume turned up 3 notches.
Everything sounds crisp and clear. Highly recommended.
It's a shame you can't get your eye's done so easily

next time just apply a drop of olive oil to each ear twice a day - will shift a plug of wax in a week :)
and how are Davinia's dulcet tones??
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

.... so you've removed the restrictor - don't forget that you need to snip the wire too.

What about waxy waste disposal? Oh wait, the wax could be fed back into the bike cleaning products...

Anyone who intended cleaning a bike with what comes out of my ears would be a few sandwiches short of a picnic...
A few years back I suffered with an ailment called 'Glue Ear', where not only the ear itself gets clogged up, but also the little channels/passages near the ear get clogged up. It was like living underwater for a month or so. Absolutely horrible. So I can appreciate the feeling of relief that Paddy is experiencing.

Perhaps NOOJ could recycle it and spay it back on for winter protection.
That seems a better idea than any cleaning use.

On the Norfolk weekend last year a number of us came away suffering the similarly named Glew Ear .... Tim endured a particularly extended exposure ... only being relieved when the phone battery started to give up.

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.
