Driving

I was in my car the other day driving to a meeting when and my boss rang up and said "You've been promoted." It made me swerve. A Bit later he rang again and said "You've been promoted again." And I swerved again. Then he rang back and said "You're the new managing director." And I crashed into a tree. A policeman turned up and said "What happened to you?" So I told him "I careered off the road."
