Having been made redundant in January I've decided to have a proper go at being self employed. Having already bought an AllYearBiker franchise last year, it seemed an obvious choice to offer this service on a full time basis as opposed to weekends only. I have also taken a bit of a risk and spent my redundancy pay on Puncturesafe distribution franchise, that plan is to build up a number of preventative maintanance products and services for bikers under one name. So, I give you....

Good luck, hope it works out for you. I have been self employed (glazing) for 13 years and it was the best thing I have ever done. Tough at the start but better abd better each year

Yes - Best Wishes for the new empire.
Do we have to call you Nigel now that you're a major exec on the long path to becoming Sir Nigel?

Don't think I've got that much control over where the banners go, only done on a cheapy Mr.Site package. Gives me a choice of left, centre or right. Looks alright on my Chrome and Firefox and the Missus' IE screens, so don't know what to do about that.
Not on Face Book yet. Is it worth it? All my FB friends are people off these bike forums anyway..
Please do spread the word, although how many of you all live near enough for a visit? Not many I'm guessing, still I'll post tyre jollop all over the UK, so it has to be worth it.
Fingers crossed eh?

You've answered your own question. Your friends have other friends, and will spread the word through FB. Worth a punt anyway.

Went out and hassled a few people today. Possible interest from a local Jaguar restoration place. Local bike shop isn't interested, they're still stuck in the past believing it causes wheels to go out of ballance. 10 years ago maybe it did

Never known a bunch of people like bikers for refusing to accept anything new, so slow to change, why is that?
