Nice riding for a racer, just wonder if He's picking up a bit of Foggy's arrogance along the way

1:30 and 2:02 were two times I can think of. It's not a race and he's riding with journalists who appear for the majority to be Inters to Fast Group. He seemed to be a bit ruthless with his overtaking at times..

Don't you mean he made them look like 1st track day rookies?

I couldn't see any dodgy overtakes, even though the chicanes as he looked to be 20 or 30mph faster through them.

I didnt say dodgy, I said ruthless.

He could have been more... polite... I guess.

Time and places, n all that.

The fact I cant stand him probably clouds my view a little, but even so...

Kwacks,
How can you not like Toseland?
He's one of the nicest blokes on a bike.
Best bit is he's learning to be not quite so nice, which is what he needs to do to be World Champ again.
The fact that he used to live 200 yards down the road from me, went to school with my daughter, and is a super hero in our village, (Kiveton Park, nr. Sheffield), is just a minor aside.
The bloke can do no wrong for me, watch him go this year, he's the only one that will get near Bayliss and could just beat him!

Actually that's one of the special things about bike racers for me, I like em all. What I mean is there's none that I don't like, just some I like more than others. They all seem to be good blokes, who will always ride their bollocks off, unlike some of the "pay as you go" tossers in F1. Even Max for example, he might have blotted his copybook a bit in MotoGP, because I don't think he came to terms with how much better than him Rossi was. Then again Rossi is that much better than everybody. Max is the dark horse this year, if he gets his act together in WSB, he could still be something special and win back a lot of friends. May not have the ultimate bike control of Rossi, but his lines are so good and he is so tidy on a bike, really shows his 250, 2 stroke upbringing. His biggest problem is what might happen if things don't go well, will he throw the teddy out of the cot? I hope not, as then I may go off him and I was previously a big fan when he was on 2 strokes.
Then again, was also a big Foggy fan and he never knew when to keep his trap shut, especially after he stopped racing!
Anyway it's gonna be a good year in WSB I think.

Barber is in Birmingham

(but not the Birmingham 20 miles west of Coventry .... this one's in Alabama, USA)
Barber

And, yes, Toseland is a top bloke - always has time for people - not 'up himself' like some others. I think he's going to do well this season - Baylis for the early rounds on his 'sorted' Ducati - particularly at Philip Island but I think Toseland will quickly come good as they develop the bike.

Hope you're right DR, we really need a Brit doing well in something this year, and my money's on Jim in WSB.
Could just have a Brit win BSB I suppose, as Leon will take some beating this year, now he really believes he can beat anybody.
Plus, while I'm supporting local riders, a quick "good luck" for another bloke who still lives a couple of miles down the road from me, Karl Harris. Will be a big job for him to compete on the Hydrex bike this year, but he is still good enough to be the best, if he can get his confidence back. Think he could do much better than expected this year, when there is less pressure on him. He always seemed to think he had to ride too hard last year on the HRC Blade, and had to prove somehing? Ended up with too many offs, then when he did relax for a win he went to sleep and Leon murdered him!
I also think BSB will be great this year as well, then again I just love bike racing, can't wait for it to start! MotoGP, WSB, BSB, whatever!
It's the most exciting sport on telly by miles.

Did a track day a few years back day after the WSB was held there. He turned up on the evening when some were camping chatted signed a few bikes and even took some guys to a family party later in the night though they did have to put up with his singing . Top bloke in my books .

Anyway, the real good news is it all kicks off again this weekend, with WSB Quatar! Can't wait.
I know I'm biased but just wanna see a Brit do well in something, and if he's a real nice bloke and comes from our village even better, (even if he does now live in IOM).
Let's face it we aint gonna see a Brit win in MotoGP this year, (other than Rossi on a residence basis!). Plus be nice if Leon or one of the other Brits can win BSB. Let's get our blokes back on the map, then might even get one or two in MotoGP over next few years, even if they don't bring a bag of gold with them.
