Just something I forgot to mention when I got the ZX9R recently.
I bought the Kwack from Wheels (George Petch) at Grimsby a main Honda Dealer. They ended up offering me a package of almost a grand against the 9R which I thought was pretty good as CBR1000s seem to be fetching only about £695 on Fleabay or being pulled out when the reserve was not met. I would have settled for less as I wanted the 9R.
Thought that they would just move it on locally for something like what they gave me, then noticed it on their web site the other day, for sale at £1795, with a six month warranty.
Bit surprised at that!

No Andy, 7 1/2 years of it was long enough, and it was starting to need work that I don't think was worthwhile, when considering its value. They have never been cvollectable like an Urban Tiger or similar.
Anyway I've finally not got a Honda in my life for the first time for 10 years or so, (VFR750, CB750 F2 Retro, CBR1000F), so nice the have something else in the garage alongside the Falco for a change.

That's only the asking price though.HowardQ wrote:noticed it on their web site the other day, for sale at £1795, with a six month warranty.

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.
