Did you go?
I was at Old Trafford 2 years ago when Coventry beat Man U 2:0 knocking them out of the Carling Cup.
Marvellous .... nothing better than beating The Scum
Clearly the important factor if you want to beat them is to include Michael Doyle in your team - the one common factor for both Coventry & Leeds in those 2 victories ....
and although you've got him for the season, he's still a Coventry player
By the way, I was a Fratton Park yesterday watching us draw with Pompey ... replay should be good ... if they can afford the diesel for the bus to get themselves up to Coventry ...
Fratton Park is a right dump BTW - can't believe it meets premier league standards !

I can only type, lost my voice during the celebrations. Fantastic day and although I missed going to Old Trafford today I was there in 81 when flynny scored for us and I remember how good that felt even now
I hope the Leeds fans had a better trip home than we did then, there wasn't a single window left on our bus by the time we got to it. Got pulled by the plod 3 times just coming home. Happy Days!!!
Just to make this fantastic day even better, I placed my first ever bet today (yes seriously) on the match and won over £300!!!!
"Which was nice" (said in my best "fast show" voice)

It was certainly a good old fashined cup tie and was a great reminder of what the FA Cup is all about. Well done Leeds.
All it needs now is for us to beat United on Wednesday (and in the second leg) and for Reading to beat Liverpool in the replay (unlikely) and I will be made up for the month.

I guess T.C. is made up for the month then.

Last night I was at the Ricoh .... watching Coventry snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against Portsmouth.
Tonight I watched (on TV) my other team being knocked out of the cup by the team from my home town (dodgy penalty!)
Not the best 2 nights of footee ......
