Camrider Toy Run to Yarl's Wood detention centre
Sunday 20th December 11.30AM start

Dear Friends,
We have organised a Toy Run to Yarl's Wood Immigration Centre in Bedfordshire and urge as many people as possible to come along. Invites have been sent to people in the ‘Past Camrider Pupils’ group on Facebook but all Camrider’s friends are welcome just as long as they’re on two wheels and give Lexi (in the office) their full names by 17th Dec so they can be cleared by security when we get there. All details here:

The idea is to brighten the day of the children who are locked up at Yarl's Wood with their parents until they hear whether their asylum seeking applications are approved or not. These children have been through a terrible time, some of them having fled horrendous circumstances in their home country to look for refuge in the UK. Their trauma then continues as they are incarcerated in England with the constant fear they'll be sent back to where they fled from.
This run is a non political friends event, solely to help the plight of children in need of a little cheer this holiday.
Hoping you may be interested or know of people who may be. Publicity for the cases of the children held at the centre is very welcome.
Kindest Regards
Camrider
