Is there anyone here with road accident fraud investigation experience currently thinking about a new job?

I have just been offered but turned down a position with a law firm based in the south. They are looking for a field investigator to carry out a mixture of road accident and commercial fraud investigations working from home.

The package is negotiable (you can probably name your price) and will reflect the individuals experience and it appears there are various other benefits as well.

They will not consider anyone who doesn't have the right background or qualifications, but if you think you fit the bill, PM me and I will pass on the contact details.

Wish I had the know-how - but I don't. I've often seen adverts in the paper about training to be an accident investigator but I don't really see that it would be possible without the right background, whatever they promise - am I right?

Spot on. I had someone ask me the same thing yesterday. They had been thinking of doing an AI course where the trainers guarantee a jobat the completion of the course. How can they do that? There are only so many AI jobs, and even then they want someone with a track record over a number of years, not someone who has been doing it for two minutes.

But then if the promise of a job sells course places and makes them money? I wonder how they stand under the laws of misrepresentation or sale of goods?
