please god lets see duane dibbly again - you just know he would ride a puch maxi....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Oh yeah.......but did you see the very fist episode when it was aired on BBC2 at 9 o'clock on a Tuesday evening.....
Wel did ya.....did ya.......
I did (
by accident) I had just finished watching something on BBC1 (dunno what it was) and they announced a new science fiction comedy starting on BBC2. I was hooked and told everyone about it the next day in school.
Best show ever

actually i did see the first episode - and i planned to - I rated craig charles as a poet - that was his job i think then - either way I had seen him somewhere and at the end of the night he said to the audience that he was going to be on telly....
I stuck with the show, but felt it really took off from series 4 - kryten was the missing part :)

Yep - had all the shows recorded on video tape (except one - was on holiday and the vcr played up). These are now replaced by the DVDs.
Got the Audio cassettes and all of the Red Dwarf books.
It is my absolute favourite show.
I've got the kids into it too.
All my home PCs names are taken from characters from the series ...
Tried to set the freeview PVR yesterday for it but it seems we don't get "Dave" here (the Post Code where I live is not yet an official freeview area).
I'm going to have to explore the NTL tv channels .... which also means creating a load of space on the TiVO which is full .... also need to fit the MotoGP on there this weekend.
Oh, BTW Toby Moody of Eurosport is appearing in this mini series as Danny John Jules and Chris Barry both ride. The Cat will be writing in MCN too.
......... smoke me a kipper ...........

Has anyone taken the Facebook Red Dwarf quiz? And how did you score? It's bloody hard (as the Bishop said to the Actress)...

Yes I took the quiz and it was hard - I got an embarrassing 76%

Well, at the risk of starting an argument, that was piss-poor. There was no story, it was poorly acted, something was definitely missing. Maybe the apparently increased graphics/production budget means it's lost some of it's appeal.
I can only hope that this was the lead-in to the main event tomorrow, and that tomorrow's offering will be worth watching. At the moment, this is looking like a really bad way of closing out an otherwise brilliant show.

just watched the second episiode this morning
(I would of liked to have watched it last night but I was busy trying to reduce the european cider lake with some friends - have not had a saturday night like that for years... very messy and i think we got barred again.... )
have to say that the second episode was a lot better - and very clever i thought
i look forward to the conclusion tonight

Seen the 1st 2 episodes now, and in my opinion they shouldn't have bothered - its crap. (I used to love the early ones up until the series they brought Kochanski back - after that i thought it lost its way).
I'll watch the last one because I'm betting its another despair squid plot and they are dreaming it, but either way its pretty poor.

If they mess up like this with the original cast I hate to think what they are going to do to the "The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin" remake.
