Strange Request

nothing unusual there then BUT

I have been known to draft the off semi humorous scrawl for folks to enjoy, and I have an idea or two that I want to work up into something

Obviously I am not going to say what it is! It is bike related though.

BUT - i am looking for a cartoonist - or someone who can create cartoon like images for a given subject matter
(Not like ogri strips - just one image per piece of writing)

I doubt there would be a commercial aspect, but if things did get sold/taken/published then any proceeds would be split 50/50

at least until the first few things are written/drawn and shown - on assorted forums, a degree of confidentiality would be necessary :)
(In other words, if you don't like the idea or what ever, please keep it quiet!)

very difficult I know to do this over the web, but perhaps if there are any budding artists who want to have a go, they could PM me so we can see what we can come up with...

Any particular style in mind?

Not that I'm applying myself .... can't draw to save my life - but one of my sons (middle one - 19yr old) is rather artistically talented (obviously not something inherited from me) - I can have a word with him.
He prefers computer based art but draws etc as well.
He's studying graphics.
Could help his portfolio too.

Ah - while typing this up he's just come in from college, I've had a word and he's interested - at least in finding out more.

Cool Andy
On a pc is fine as the finished product will be for the forums or web any way

What I will do is send you an early draft of an idea with a couple of thoughts about what I think could go with it then are if anything comes of it

We will let you feed back here what you think!
