I love all sorts of music and own hundreds of cds and enjoy listening to most of them most of the time........ but.....

I wondered which one was the absolute most important to me.

One I can hear over and over, whatever mood I am in. I need loud rock sometimes as I do heavy funk and complex jazz. I appreciate classical, dance, electronic and many other forms but at the end of the day it has to be...

Kind of Blue by my man Miles. That's Miles Davis if you're not familiar with it.

So, what about you lot?

Please - No Lists. No Youtube links and only actual discs that you can hold in your hand. CD or vinyl but not downloads because therein lies no love, man. :smt033 :smt020

I'm gonna sneak several artists on the one record then.

On piano is Glen D. Hardin, who had played piano for Buddy Holly as well as for years for Elvis Presley. Lead guitarist, James Burton is also from Presley's group. Male background vocals with some on guitar, are: Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Steven Soles. Singing the female background vocals are k.d. lang, Jennifer Warnes, and Bonnie Raitt.

That 7 guitar line up may not have been the best in the world but boy were they on it that night.

Mmm.. hard one that.

Completely off the wall kinda choice for me but probably Megadeth - So far so good so what.

There's an instrumental when ya dont want voices.., mary jane is haunting at times in the right mood, Anarchy in the Uk lights a fire at times and 502 has it's virtues in stirring up emotions and set the world afire is cool.
