Look at me, Look at me, I have cancer.

Not wishing to be insensitive but this is going over the top. She has two kids who are having this rammed down their thoats every day
I would not want my children to be reminded that I am going to die everywhere they look.

I know people and have known people that just get on with it and don't use it as a publicity tool or as a means to get more pity. Jade is using her illness for publicity and pity - its sick. I feel really sorry for her kids, they are going to lose their mum but she is just loving the attention.

Stop it.... Just effing stop it

She has nothing but celebrity, notoriety and bad advisors.
I can't feel anger at her, just pity.

How a pointless moron like her got to be a national celebrity is beyond me, even in slow and painful death she remains a shameless media whore.

Well I agree with all the above BUT I have to say that if I was dying of cancer and had a way of making lots of money to make sure my kids wanted for nothing - I'd do it!

It's no different from the way she's lived, she said herself "I've lived in front of the cameras and I'll die in front of the cameras"

But I won't be watching.

How much of the small fortune that her, her publicist and the papers are collecting from The Jade Goody Cancer Circus is going to medical research?

I don't blame her, I would do it too if I could make all that money through it AND don't forget that the amount of young women going for smear tests has increased by thousands .... that in itself can't be a bad thing and if it takes a bit of publicity in celeb mags to encourage them then hey ho, I know my daughter is aware now of something that she wouldn't have been otherwise!

Her next TV fee is apparently from an appearance on Livings Most Haunted!!!! :smt105 :smt018

What annoys me most is that there are even greater heroes out there in their final days raising money for Cancer charities up to their final moments, and almost slipping away un-noticed and un-recognised. THEY have my admiration, not Jade.

My best friends wife died from Cancer just 3 weeks ago, actually passing away on her sons' 17th birthday at just 43yrs old

Leaving a husband, son & daughter behind at any age is a tragedy, but she fought her cancer with a dignity and strength which humbled me every day, and I have a new found belief to get the most from every day

I just feel pity & contempt for Jade, thousands of others are suffering & dying from cancer every day but most do not have the opportunity to make money from their suffering. Her husband is a worthless piece of rubbish who is trying (and it would appear succeeding) to use her illness as a means to escape from justice and reduce his punishment. I feel sorry for her children, they don't deserve this, but my sympathy for Jade and her situation is fading day by day

Jane Tomlinson was a fantastic ambassador for cancer charities, she wanted to help others not herself. Jade is just grabbing every penny while she can for herself..........sad and selfish.

But it's easy to be judgemental when I'm not the one suffering I suppose

exactly... Jade is grabbing every penny ... NOT for herself but for her sons!!! hardly likely she wants the money when she isn't going to be around to take advantage of it! Her sons on the other hand are left motherless WITH or WITHOUT money! What would any of us do in this position? Get real!

At the end of the day its people like US who speak, read and publicise her fate who have put her in the position she's in!

Actually I'm very "REAL" thank you. I have my opinion, you have yours.

Yes of course it's obvious that she won't be around for the money, but as a millionairess already just how much more do her son's need? the answer; probably not much.

But if you think that by prostituting her illness and death to make her sons richer is fine & dandy, well that's obviously OK in your book. It doesn't have to be in mine though.

The woman was nigh on bankrupt last year! She needs the money for her sons! I didn't say you weren't real, I'm saying if we had a chance to die poor or make money, I know which I would do ... for my kid!

You and I are discussing this, therefore contributing toward her 'so called prostitution'!

Who are we to comment on how someone lives or dies?

Dunno much about this TBH.

I think this Jade was on one or other of those lack-of-reality gameshows but I might be wrong.

Heard something the other week on some news programme I caught that said she's got inoperable cancer and that because it's been in the news it has led to a lot of women getting checked out for cancer.

That's got to be a good thing - dunno about the motives - seem to have missed out on that - along with most of the hoo-ha other than what I mentioned above.

My mrs had cancer and knowing what she went through, the more women that get checked for the various cancers that strike them, the better - the earlier they get caught, the better their chances.
After many years of check-ups to confirm it had not returned, last month my mrs got discharged by her specialist - so we've a happier ending.

I guess Jade's case goes to show you can have fame and fortune - but I guess she'd readily exchange every bit of it just to see her kids grow up.

A good moral example would be a better inheritance for her kids than a few quid.

Smear tests at a young age are apparently a complete red herring and actually counter productive by tieing up resources unneccesarily.
