When Tony Bliar retires as PM.

Should he be accorded the same privileges as all other ex leaders?

Personally I think he should be hung out to dry, without a security detail provided by the tax payer. The man is a liar and a crook.

He should also be prosecuted if found guilty of the cash for peerages and sentenced accordingly.

What do you think?

if found guilty of anything, he can't get a peerage

what a shame, my heart bleeds

Lying tosser!

Throw a party and start worrying about the next tosser that will be foisted on you. New Labour has turned into Same old Corruption. Does the public school boy from the opposition look any more sincere or trustworthy?

His reign has been more transparent than any that have gone before, and probably less corrupt.
I fear for the future.

That's not the future or the present. There isn't anything new there.
Tis just the status quo.

I think Sam's aware of the current sitrep, (btw, weve finished paying off to the yanks for the War..I bet Tony claims that as one of his achievements..) The future he/we fear isnt here yet, we've got a nightmare already unfolded with much more to come, regardless of what party is in the chair. This is just the baking of the cake, nowhere near the icing yet!

We'd offer a military coup, however we're a tad busy. See if the firemen can do it... they owe the forces a favour..

Can the last Brit to leave please turn the light off... :smt011

How far back into history do you want to go for examples of "violence, no police, drunk and out of control kids, massive tax burden, the only new laws are against the motorist, lying mp's that tell you crime is going down, health service is improveing, immigrants are'nt takeing our jobs"?

im not saying these problems have just appeared, but todays climate the problems are'nt being dealt with and its the minority thats being listened to and policy's being made accordingly.there is a deep anger across the field that i've never experianced and growing.

In case there's any misunderstanding, I've never voted for the twat. :smt002

I would prefer to see reasoned argument than the usual trial by media soundbites tho.
( or even Gio's bigotted opinions :smt003 )

Cant say I like Blair or Nu Labour, but dont you think that the above posts are just a tad overstated?

Seems to me that Balirs spin and exageration must be contageous. :smt018
