thing was, in those days it was mainly friendly banter with the odd bout of fisticuffs at the end of the night

I know a lot of the guys in the East Anglia Scooter Alliance though will probably have fond memories of such places..

The lads in the Cambridge Scooter Club are on about going down to Brighton for Deckchairs at Dawn.. all the older Mods and the wannabe new lads. They didnt take too kindly when I asked if I could ride down in a Black Leather jacket with my cutoff denim over the top..... Mods n rockers, Pah, Cant be doing with it. I ride both bikes and scoots because theyre fun and I enjoy them.. I dont tend to do the whole " Scene" thing.

Ducati must be pure rockers' bikes then, mirrors are bugger all use and may as well not be there
