Are Private Messages private? .....

Just found out after talking to a mate who has another (phbb or whatever it is) site, that it is possible for the admins to read PM's ........
sorry, no more PM sex from me for Kwakz, Sam and DR.... you'll have to get it elsewhere
AND by having PM sex with 'em ... I now know ALL the rest of your secrets ....

Yes it is possible read PMs by doing some of geeky crap behind the scenes, but directly but 'logging in' to your profile? No. it isnt possible. Private messages are exactly that. Private.
It's like having a shit in a public toilet. It's possible to open the door, but no-one usually does...
D-R is a mod. He doesnt have the required access to read anyone but his own PMs.

I wasnt accusing anyone of reading them..... just saying the pm sex is over .... tsk ... not my fault I try and pm myself to the top

backing up - I was on a forum where the admin/owner read every PM,, luckily he sold out to more sensible owner, I found out when I was emailed by another forum member to warn me
