From January to December last year, a total of 24 motorcyclists were killed on Hampshire and Isle of Wight roads, plus one pillion passenger.
In more than a third of incidents, motorists failed to correctly judge the path of the motorcyclist.

So how the .... does giving motorcyclists hi-viz vest cure that?
Same old story - it's the car drivers that are no good so the motorcyclists better sort it!

silly comment. do you think there are two sorts of people in this world - car drivers and bike riders? do you suddenly change when you get in a car? one minute you know what you are doing and ride perfectly - the next you are an idiot and drive stupidly.
the reality is that most bike fatalities are single vehicle accidents - ie bikers killing themselves by misjudging speed / conditions etc. how is that the fault of car drivers?

Yours may be but those figures seem to say differently about the accidents in their locality.

Most yes but just over a third are'nt.
Then of course there's ones that bike rider takes avoiding action and buries himself in wall/hedge/ditch/embankment, no others involved so its his fault QED.
