Song: Motorhead
Original Artist: Hawkwind
I believe it was written by Ian Killminster aka Lemmy

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

...... LOL ..... I think I'm the only forum member whose username is a Hawkwind track title ......
Anyway, I've got to go and think one up now .... back when the brain has chugged over.
Oh - and Glen Miller - he was my Mum's favourite !

TBH I'm feeling Sh#t - Coughs, Aches (head in particular and everywhere else too). Been fighting it off for a couple of months but can't knock it into touch. Night before last after an uncontrolled shivering fit - gradually relieved by application of coats and hats I then got too hot .... and though "last time I felt this bad was when I had glandular fever with jaundice" .... was off work for 10 weeks that time ....which, for someone who never gives in and takes time off is very uncharacteristic!
Anyway, felt a little better in the morning and trying to ignore it as far as I can. Bet as soon as I stop for Christmas it leaps out and knocks me down.
As for medication .... not sure you can take painkillers in the wrong order.
Oh, do I take it that you're not finding this music item immediately obvious?
This medical talk has some relevance to the band ............

I remember it as a namesake and the same vintage as me, but his surname or song title I haven't a clue.

Not Zappa ....
sorry I'd forgotten about this - I'll give some clues but I'm thinking it unlikely people will know it - it's one of those you know or you don't.
The band: A state provided medical service
The track: A vocalised drum solo
The track title: ..... is in the "lyrics"

OK - I'm going to kill this one off .... let's face it, it was already dead !
- The Band: National Health
The Track: Phlakaton
So ....
given the time of year, I propose that for the next few days we turn this into an easy "Quickfire Round" of Carols and Christmas Songs ....
Let's start with

Close enough - the quick fire carols concept didn't really work .... just for the record, it was In the Bleak Midwinter .... bit like today really.
Your turn then Nooj
