Somethin happened to my Falco before Christmas, but I never got that sort of attention from a brunette in a red dress, then again the wife's blonde!
Seem to remember the only people that went down were me and the Falco, still I do love that bike!

How are the repairs going HowardQ, geting close yet?

Yes it's coming on well now thanks, got it back almost OK to ride this tea time!
Had to leave the belly pan off for now, cos either need a new one or more likely a repair job and respray, once I manage to get the paint sorted, (Gone back to the original lower plastics for now). Rubbing it down to get rid of the deep scratches etc., and generally patching it up today, when two bits came off in my hand, above both mounting holes on the right hand side Dooooh, so need to fibre glass it in again above the fixing holes somehow.
New upper and middle fairings, bar ends, mirrors, indicators, rear brake pedal all fitted. Just swapped Beowulf cans over for now, the damaged can is buffed up and now on the inside at the other side of the bike, where it can't easily be seen, (pretty well hidden actually). Just tidied other bits up for now, like the ground down ball on the end of the front brake leaver, just carefully ground it down so it looks better and polished up for now, similar job on the R/H footrest. Spent about £700 - £800 so far and need so save up a bit more to fully complete the job. Just want it back on road now!
Just need to change the brake fluid and bleed up the rear brake and it's set to go for now, so hope to be out on it next weekend.

Absolutely scary, check the prices on the Aprilia Yorkshire site!
The basic top fairing is £586.08 including VAT, right hand side fairing is £356.44, left hand side £337.87 (??), so £1,280.93 all in for plastics,excluding bottom winged bit, mirrors, indicators, screen, and if you need it a clock panel, a steal at just £281.64 and finally if you should ever damage a standard can and decide to buy a new one, rather than fitting race cans, (some chance!), they're a snip at £596.53 each!
Just try really hard not to bend it!

Fuck me with a fish fork!!!!! That's one mod I WON'T be declairing to the in-sewer-ants company at the next renewal demand! Saying that, from the trade in value I got for tax purposes (company bike) if the exhaust got scratched they's write it off as a cat C. (Or is it D, un-economical repair?)you should ever damage a standard can and decide to buy a new one, rather than fitting race cans, (some chance!), they're a snip at £596.53 each!
