But I still haunt the forums, still look at bikes as they pass, still read the mags. Is there a cure?

No cure - just an addiction to feed :smt002

Only one cure .... and you don't want that to happen.
Meanwhile you never know when the bug might bite again, or in what form.
As for hanging around the forums, don't be a stranger ... well, no stranger than you always were. :smt003

I've not regretted it :smt003

For some people being a biker - or motorcyclist if you prefer - isn't something you do, it's what you are!

Get another bike and ride while you can!

Get back on two wheels if you can. It doesn't have to be anything macho, its the riding that counts. I rode my sons ER5 for a couple of hours yesterday - a bike derided by most (not by D-Rider though :smt017 ) and it was great fun.

Keep in touch Laz.

D-Rider can deride bikes if he wants to .... but they usually have to be a Hardly Ableson or some other cruiser thing or YD's yellow peril

:smt002

If you get back on a bike Lazarus, I'll not deride it whatever it is.

...... we could yet see another Lazarus making a momentous comeback :smt017

I gave up bikes once but can't even imagine doing it again.

I hope that whatever happens I will be able to keep some sort of 2 wheeled motor. Even my DRZ is better than nothing. In fact I am starting to understand the SuperMoto thing :smt003

I can understand that one. Tried a KTM 690 supermoto once and it was an absolute hoot. Had no doubt though, that I would have ended up as someone's bonnet mascot should I have bought one. The point and squirt of the bike was just too addictive.
