"I put on my manifesto when I stood for parliament in 1983 - 'this constituency needs a member of parliament of youth and fresh ideas'.
Couldn't possibly be the same bloke that said ....
"At the last election I put on my manifesto - 'this constituency needs a member of parliament of maturity and experience'."

Come on now - isnt that what we would all say as we progressed through life.
Or would you say "I'm an old fart, well past it so dont vote for me!"

I'm more concerned He's at a book festival while there are problems that need his attention. I guess everything stops for PR though?
I know everyone is entitled to a Holiday, etc, but for the amount of money He's raking in, as are the rest of the Govt, I'd rather be being told of the overtime theyre putting in, not the books theyre finding time to write. Surely a PM should be focussed like an athelete, not poncing about like..... us lot!
