REASONS FOR HATING MAN UTD!

1) david becham played for them
2) everyone thinks andy cole is a top class strike
3) none of their fans come from manchester
4) you never win a penalty at old trafford
5) all they do is fucking moan
6) david becham played for them
7) they bring out a new kit every week until every kid is wearing one
8) the FA will bend over backward to help them but no one else
9) all their players are thick
10) we left them drop out of the cup last season only for them to make the premiership look crap in Brazil
11) david becham played for them
12) every other live game features them making you sick of the sight of them
13) most females support them because ryan giggs plays for them
14) their stadium is quieter than a mourge on match days yet they claim they have the best support on the planet
15) 95% of their fans have never been to old trafford
16) david becham played for them
17) it's always man utd players who fuck it up for england
18) ronaldo is a little queer
19) the legions of "fans" that they have that have absolutely no connection to Manchester but declare themselves to be diehard fans eg people who only follow clubs that are successful rather than their local club, most of the Phillipines, Thailand, etc.
20) that whinging ungracious clock-watching cunt of a manager. Not that this implies that he isn't a good manager. He's proved that at Aberdeen and Man United. But he's a horrible individual
21) Eamonn Holmes
22) the relentless arse-licking from sections of the media eg Eamonn Dunphy, Pat Crerand, Clive Tyldesley
23) the whole Rio Ferdinand saga where rather than just admit they were in error they started trying to throw their weight about and bought their player a much longer ban
24) Roy Keane
25) Eamonn Holmes is harmless and Irish, and the Irish tend to follow english teams
26) Who did the fat spoilt kid in your class support?
27) what was it the Chelsea fans sang to the visiting Man Utd supporters last season - to the tune of Guantanamero - "Live round the corner, you only live round the corner

..... and they can't even beat a team that almost got relegated from the Championship last season.

I've only been to "The Scum's" ground once but

Man U 0 : Cov City 2

.... will always be a sweet memory.

As will be the 4:1 thumping we gave Blackburn Rovers last season, managed by a certain Mark Hughes .... who spent most of his life playing for "The Scum".

Two questions:
  • 1) Who needs a list of reasons to hate Man U ?
    2) Why is this in "Joking Apart" ?

Money ain't everything in any sport but especially football.
You can't really appreciate the good times unless you've been through the really bad times with your team.

Special note for all Man U fans - Bad times are not occsaionally coming 2nd in the Premiership to Arsenal or Chelski, by the odd point!

You don't have to go too far back to the days when Man U were division 2 and Man City were in division 1 ....... or to the time when Ferguson was a game away from the sack ......

..... Happy Days .....

Sorry Andy but one season in the old 2nd Divison 34 years ago, (yes it was that long, in 1974), is hardly dropping to the depths is it. They also came straight back up as champiops the very next year with Tommy Docherty, so they didn't suffer long. I think the fans of Wednesday, Coventry and the rest have had to suffer a little bit more than that!

I agree (and I was joking about the money side)- bad times are losing most of your team in an air crash (yes I am old enough to remember it and was living in Manchester at the time)
