Hmm..

Well thats a novelty, having to phone the Police for something other than a traffic offence...

Woke up about 4.30 am this morning, looked out the bedroom window and saw a bike/moped/scooter being ridden fast down the loke about half a mile behind our estate.

"Fuck me thats flying, (thought me to myself) hmm looks like a moped, tell you what, that must be yours cos no-one else's goes that fast round here..."

Then I, in my tired state, went back to bed.. without checking...

Taaadaaa. Big comical 'It's YOU' national lottery hand comes down and points at me at 9 am when I go out to get the Ped ready for a quick ride out into Cambridge....

Told you it was fast... :smt002

So ive just spent half an hour chatting to cambridge police reporting my Ped stolen.. :smt011

Im more pissed off that it will be a mark against our Postcode come the insurance for the GPz being renewed than anything else.

Oh and the fact it's sunny..

That was the killer blow... it's like being in the South of France here today.

So, if you happen to see DX 54 MGE being ridden about anywhere, feel free to beat the fuck out of the shit riding it. Oh and report it to the police..

It'd definately be the better option than meeting me.. :smt013

I asked the copper what would happen were they caught, She said they'd obviously go to court and I would be asked to make a witness statement in court or whatever it was called... basically i'd be in court.

She seemed a bit concerned when I asked whether the defendant would be behind a screen so I couldnt see them.. and do they do a Burglar Protection Scheme? :smt011

... this is the infamous "tactical-support-ped" I presume ?

Is the defence of the realm compromised? ... is this an act of treason? .... doesn't treason still carry the death penalty?

Loke
(lōk)
n. 1. A private path or road;

In this case a long farmer's track going out into the fields.
A bit of an east anglian word really, i guess!

Its happend twice in the last year to my family. First it was my daughters bike which we got back from the little shit, then it was my nephews bike.

I asked my daughter to find out if the same little shit was on the rob again but apparently he was in hospital suffering from an extreme case of head butting a baseball bat. HA :smt005

Well thats interesting!

Seems the pink moped down the road was stolen at about the same time too... They leave theirs parked on the road though, so that was almost expected.

Plenty of interesting facts coming out from talking to people in the Villiage too..a right mini-crime wave has started since one family have moved in from Hackney...

Oh bless, I know where they live too! That'll be a bit of an O.P. set up on their place later in the week.. It seems they have plenty of form for this sort of thing which is partly why they were moved from hackney... (the family's social worker fluffy person is a friend of ours)

Nice one, Eh?!
