It's only a little one but it's pissing me off :smt013

I ordered 3 oil filters from an ebay seller and only received one in the post.
I've been onto him several times over the last 2 weeks via 'contact the seller' but haven't heard a peep.

We're only talking £15 total so it's not the end of the world but I'm not going to let it go just like that.

What would you do ?

P.S. It's P A Motorcycles if you'd like to avoid them in future.

Did you use paypal to pay him? If so there is a dispute facility. I have used it before as I got an item that was faulty - it was only £21 but they got my money back.

if hes advertising 3 thats what you should of recieved

Yes it was Paypal and it was clearly paid for 3 with a postal discount.

the sale of goods act also applies to shops on ebay, i would try to sort it first before leaving a bad feedback they dont like that see link

Paypal will want to know the measures you have taken to solve this with the seller. Tell them how many times you've tried to contact him with no response. I don't forsee there being a problem in you getting your money back - I think, even if they can't contact him that you will still get your money back from them.

Kill em all.. Let God sort it out..

:smt002

If youre sqeamish, I can do it for a Pint.

Failing that..

I would write to them, stating your Ebay auction number, (print it before it is uncheckable) - Youve got their postal addy and a name.

I'd also contact Ebay and file a complaint on Ebay.

or if you paid by credit card, inform them and ask for a claim on insurance. The goods were unfit by the very nature they werent there..

Failing that we're back to my first offer... :smt002

Thanks for the advice one and all.

The latest is that I sent another couple of queries and heard nothing so printed off all the relevant details and sent a 'final ultimatum'.

Funnily enough I now have had a response. The usual sorry if communications have gone astray stuff. Still, progress at least.

Unusually for Ebay the seller had already given me glowing feedback :smt005
