A MASSIVE 'go-slow' protest against high fuel prices is set to bring roads across Greater Manchester to a standstill.
More than a thousand bikers are expected to join forces to cause havoc on motorways and major routes into the city centre to demonstrate their anger at the soaring cost of petrol.
Motorbike club members from across Britain are expected to link up with local riders for the rush-hour gathering on Thursday.

I'm not even gonna read that cos it boils my piss. Its the lazy wimpy wanker way to pretend your doing something. No effort involved, no day off to stand outside a depot and protest, no blocking of roads (cos youd get wrong, cant have that), no chaining yourself to anything.
Just riding really slow. wow. Takes real balls. Causing a traffic jam to other road users, thats really sticking it to them, petrol is bound to drop.
I tell you now, any bike deliberately going slow will get his bar end snapped off by a white van at speed.

would be better to have a city centre rideout.. without the bikes.. but still using the roads, to snarl things up.

It looks like it's gone well, had 15 mile hold ups around Manchester.
Also seems to have been supported well by the public.
Be nice to have a few more in other cities.

I think the 3 coppers or highways agency guys at the front deserve a big cheer too..
They were the ones slowing things down by the looks of it!
