It's a shame Lincs Police don't spend the money on sorting proper crime instead
Grantham CID couldn't catch a fecking cold.......they spend all their time out on the piss, cluttering up my local boozer !
Why is it that every time someone thinks traffic Police are doing something a little untoward or simply doing the job they are trained to do people jump on the bandwagon and start complaining about proper crime and so on
CID officers (Superstars

)are not traffic officers and vice versa, but traffic officers catch more criminals involved in crime than most CID because the motor vehicle is used more in the commision in crime. Most traffic officers have seen more dead bodies through bad driving than the majority of CID officers, and when anyone is involved in a serious crash the first thing they do is get on the phone requesting Police attendance which is invariably a traffic cop
But traffic cops are the first ones to get slagged off because they do their job and because people don't like beng stopped even though they know the rules of the road but choose to ignore those rules.
It also seems that it is OK for a trafic cop to stop every muppet on the road so long as they don't stop you!!!!!!
You can't have it both ways. Obey the rules keep your vehicle legal and you will have no problems, choose to ignore those rules and you have no one to blame but yourself.
I was trained as a traffic cop not a superstar (CID) and yet the firs comment often made is "Why are you not out catching real criminals Wel believe it or not the catching of real criminals often starts with the stopping of a vehicle for something that may seem quite petty initialy, but at the end of the day that routine stop may also prevent someone dying.
I am not having a pop at you, and I am not particularly pro or anti Police anymore, I have done my time and I am glad to be shot of the job, but comments like that do p1ss me off somewhat.
