#1 Post by Kwackerz » Fri Mar 28, 2008 10:23 pm

An opportunity to join the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the first motorcycle race meeting at Brooklands. There will be a re-enactment of the start of the first race of 1907 on parts of the original track and Campbell Circuit. We expect an entry of over 200 significant racing machines from 1908 to 2008 including Brooklands record breakers such as a 1908 Singer and the ex Clive Lones Morgan-JAP. With ascents of Test Hill and close-up viewing of machines in a covered paddock, Trade Stands, one-make club stands, celebrity riders and machines not often seen in action, this will be a day to remember.

Prices - Entrants: £10 (includes machine, rider & helper)
Public: Adults £10, Seniors & Students £8,
Children (aged 6-16) £5,
Family ticket (2 Adults + 3Children) £25

They had one for vehicles last year, it was impossible to get in and out properly. Also from what someone told me they made car drivers park near Guildford charged a fortune for that then charged for transport in.

Admittedly I only live about 3 miles away but I'm not going.
